  • 1. How to begin the design process and what The Wedding Scribblers need from you?

    - An idea of what style invite(eg. A5, square opening, pocket-fold invite, etc) you are looking for.
    - What design you have chosen, whether it’s one from our customer brochure or a bespoke/personalised design.
    - Core information: Names, wedding date, venue, R.S.V.P info, additional info.
    - Rough quantities to provide a quote.
    - €50 deposit which secures your place on our work-list. From there our design team can begin working on creating your invitations.

  • 2. What’s your turnaround time?

    - Our turnaround time is approx 2-3 weeks. Subject to change at busy periods.
    - Once your deposit is placed, you are secured on our work-list. From there our design team can make a start on your stationery items and you should receive a digital proof within the following 7-10 working days. You can work alongside your designer to make any changes or additions needed and once you’re happy with the final proof we can set that up to print. Printing takes about 2-3 days.
    - You can choose to collect your stationery from our showroom or opt for postage.

  • 3. How many invites should we order?

    - When deciding on how many invitations you need, don’t forget you only need one invite per couple/family. Half your guest count number and add 15/20 invitations for safety. (Eg. For approx 200 guests we would recommend 115/120 invites. This is assuming half of the guest list will be mostly couples(or single guests with plus ones) and a few extra to cover yourself from any overlooked guests missed, mistakes and other unforeseen circumstances.)

  • 4. When would we need to start working on our on-the-day stationery?

    - We usually recommend to begin working on your on-the-day stationery, such as booklets, signage, table setting, around 3 weeks before your wedding.

    - We do have a very helpful booklet template available to download from our website or linked in our bio on Instagram. It is also available on request via email.

  • 5. What are the best options for guests to R.S.V.P.?

    - Email or Text are the most popular R.S.V.P options.
    - Postal is also a great option we provide if you prefer the more traditional way.
    - Wedding Emails specifically for R.S.V.P are also popular as well as Wedding Websites. We can even include a QR code.
    - You can avail of all three options being; Email, Text and Postal if preferred.

  • 6. How much is it to create a bespoke design?

    - Our bespoke designs range in price depending on the detail, time and work put into creating the design. It can range anywhere from €25 - €95.

  • 7. If I have my own design can you apply it to the card and print it?

    -Yes. We can apply your artwork to the card. For this, we do require you have the artwork set up to print (crop marks and 3mm bleed included) in the highest quality (300dpi) and CYMK suitable to print. A formatting fee may apply, depending on the artwork.

  • 8. What if I need extra invitations, can I order more after collecting my order?

    - Yes, of course. Once we have created your invitation with you we have the artwork on file. If you come to realise you need 10 or 20 extra we can send those to print immediately and you should have them within 3 working days.

  • 9. Do you have finishing touches like wax stamps and stickers available to buy?

    - Yes. We have a retail section in our showroom for you to pick up any finishing touches needed. Among them are our wax stamps with generic designs and wax bars. - We also offer personalised stickers which you can create with one of our designers to match your invitation design.

  • 10. What type of card do we provide?

    - We have two types of card stock. Matte card and Pearlescent (shimmery), in Cream or White card. Options may vary due to availability.

  • 11. Do you provide envelopes?

    - Yes. White envelopes come complementary with your invitations.

    - Specialty envelopes are available on request at an additional cost. Ask a team member during your consultation.

  • 12. Do you offer E-vites?

    - Yes. We can create an E-Vite to match your physical invites or create an E-vite on its own. We can format them for email usage or WhatsApp usage.
